2011洗心革面策略:如何制定新年目标
Instruction 1
Be realistic by setting achievable goals. Winning the lottery, for example, is out of your grasp。
现实点,制定可达成的目标。像中彩票这种事可不是你自己能把控的。
Instruction 2
Describe your resolutions in specific terms. Instead of "I don't want to be lazy," opt for "I want to exercise regularly" or "I will cut down on my television watching."
制定具体的目标,不要说“我不想再那么懒惰了”,而说“我要坚持锻炼”或者“我要减少看电视的时间”。
Instruction 3
Break down large goals into smaller ones. For instance, commit to losing weight by resolving to join a gym and improve your eating habits。
把大目标分成小目标。例如,把减肥的计划分成决心去体育馆和改善饮食习惯。
Instruction 4
Find alternatives
to a behavior that you want to change, and make this part of your resolution plan. So you want to quit smoking but you smoked to relax yourself? What other forms of relaxation are available to you?
为你想要改变的行为寻找“替代品”,并且将此作为你的决心计划之一。比如你想要戒烟,可是吸烟可以让你放松自己,那么就想想还有什么其他可以令你放松的事情吧。
Instruction 5
Above all, aim for things that are truly important to you, not what you think you ought to do or what others expect of you。
最重要的是,你要把那些对你真正重要的事情作为目标,而不是那些你认为自己应该做或者其他人希望你做的事。
