美国男子手机放购物篮 拍“裙底风光”被诉
A 43-year-old man is accused of using his cellphone to secretly record video up the dresses and skirts of more than a dozen women in the Phoenix area.
Clinton Leroy Hollister was arrested on suspicion of 26 counts of voyeurism and attempted voyeurism after officials served a search warrant at his Phoenix home on Monday, according to police records. He was released from jail on his own recognizance Tuesday.
Sgt. Trent Crump, a Phoenix Police Department spokesman, said Hollister took videos of unsuspecting women by setting the phone to video mode and placing it in a shopping basket with the lens facing up.
A woman shopping at a fabric store with her two teenage daughters called police in April after she noticed a man following her down multiple aisles, according to police records. At one point, she felt a plastic, handheld shopping basket touch her leg and looked down to see a cellphone that was on and appeared to be taking video. She was wearing a dress at the time.
The woman confronted the man, who told her his name but refused to show her what he'd been recording, records show. The woman contacted a clerk, and when both of them warned the man that they would call police, he fled the store, Crump said.
As the man was leaving, one of the woman's daughters was able to get a picture of the his license plate, Crump said.
Police soon identified Hollister as a possible suspect and, earlier this month, served a search warrant on his cellphone for forensic analysis, according to police records.
Analysts were able to retrieve numerous video files deleted from the phone, including about 20 upskirt videos and several attempts, records show. Police served another search warrant, this time for Hollister's home, on Monday.
