杭州保姆纵火案放火者莫焕晶被执行死刑

Mo Huanjing, a nanny who set a fire causing the death of a mother and three children, was executed last Friday morning, according to the People's Procuratorate of Zhejiang.
浙江省人民检察院近日宣布，纵火致一名母亲和三名孩子死亡的保姆莫焕晶，于上周五上午被执行了死刑。

Mo deliberately set the fire in an upscale apartment in Hangzhou on June 22, 2017.
2017年6月22日，莫焕晶故意在杭州的一个高档公寓内纵火。

She planned to put it out to gain favor from her employer Zhu Xiaozhen with the hope she would help repay her gambling debts.
她本打算把火扑灭，以博得自己的雇主朱小贞的感激，帮助她偿还赌债。

Instead, the fire spread too quickly, prompting her to flee the apartment. Zhu and her three children, aged 6 to 11, died in the blaze.
但是火势蔓延得很快，迫使她逃离了该公寓。而朱小贞和她那三个年龄在6岁至11岁的孩子却不幸在大火中丧生。

Mo Huanjing was convicted and sentenced to death in early February. Her appeal was rejected by the Zhejiang Provincial Higher People's Court in June.
莫焕晶于二月初被定罪，并被判处了死刑。她的上诉于六月份被浙江省高级人民法院驳回。

Mo's execution was approved by the Supreme People's Court and was conducted under the supervision of prosecutors.
经最高人民法院批准，在检察机关的监督下，莫焕晶被执行了死刑。
