China's star hurdler, Liu Xiang, clocked 13.14 seconds on Saturday to win the men's 110-meter hurdles event in the IAAF Osaka Grand Prix.

This is his fourth straight victory at the event.

The world champion says he's been training hard for the games. 

"I've treated this event seriously. This is my first outdoor 110-meter hurdles race this year. I definitely want to give a perfect performance."

Meanwhile, his compatriot, Shi Dongpeng, finished the same race second with a time of 13.24 seconds.

After his victory, Liu Xiang says he will go all-out for the 11th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, which will also be held in Osaka from August 25th to September 2nd.
