CRI听力：Beijing International Education Expo 2007 Kicked Off

The Beijing International Education Expo began at the China International Exhibition Centre today, Friday, under the theme "Open, Cooperation and Development".
The event has attracted hundreds of universities, vocational schools and education organizations from over 20 countries and regions.
Vice Mayor of Beijing Municipal Government, Sun Anming addressed the opening ceremony.
"We have successfully staged three events of the Beijing International Education Expo, so it has become an effective platform for promoting education. The exchanges of education between China and the rest of the world will close our relations and promote an effective communications between different people."
The three-day exhibition includes an international education fair, vocational education forum and a seminar for Sino-foreign education cooperation.
Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004, the Beijing expo is one of the biggest education fairs in China and provides chances for recruiting students and assisting international cooperation.
