CRI听力:First IAEA Inspection Team Leaves N. Korea
The first team of UN inspectors left the North Korean capital Pyongyang for Beijing on Tuesday after wrapping up a two-week inspection of the nuclear facilities at Yongbyon.
Adel Tolba is head of the International Atomic Energy Agency inspection team.
"We just completed the job which was planned, we have had the full co-operation of DPRK authorities."
As for the installation of monitoring equipment at Yongbyon nuclear facilities, he said "evaluation and assessment" of that equipment will be done at IAEA headquarters in Vienna.
The first inspection team arrived in Pyongyang on July 14 and then went to Yongbyon to verify and monitor the shutdown of the nuclear facilities there.
On July 18, IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei said North Korea had shut down all of its five nuclear facilities.
Following the first team, a second IAEA team arrived in North Korea on Saturday, they will remain in Yongbyon for another two weeks.
