Meanwhile, the railway power system in Chenzhou of Central China's Hunan province is back to normal operation.
Chenzhou is one of hardest-hit cities in the recent snowstorm in China, where electricity supply was cut.
Workers have been repairing power facilities for one week, and they are happy to see the recovery.
Xiao Zhirong is the general manager of Hunan Power Erection Company.
''Now we see local people enjoying electricity and living normal lives, we feel the hard work is worth it.''
In the meantime, China Southern Power Grid plans to bring its network back to normal by the end of next month.
Yuan Maozhen, chairman of the company, detailed their steps.
''We are planning to finish repairing some of the lines and stations by March 5. And by the end of the month, the entire network is expected to recover.''
The company also sent four thousand workers to southwestern China's Guizhou province to help with the repairing efforts, as the province has experienced the most severe damage caused by snow in fifty years. Guizhou also vowed to resume power supply by early next month.
Currently two thirds of the southern power network is back to normal, and more than 90 percent of these areas have seen smooth power supply.
