CRI听力:OPEC Oil Output Remains Unchanged: Officials
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries decided to keep the present oil output unchanged.
Spokesman of OPEC released the news after the organization's 148th ministerial conference held in Vienna on Wednesday.
"The conference decided to maintain open production levels and emphasize that increased uncertainty and volatility call for continued market vigilance and reiterated the commitment of member countries to market stability and ensuring adequate supplies."
The spokesman also emphasized that the oil market is well-supplied.
"The current price environment does not reflect market fundamentals, as crude oil prices have been strongly influenced by the weakness in the US dollar, rising inflation and significant flow of funds into the commodities market."
Oil hit an all-time, inflation-adjusted record of nearly 104 US dollars a barrel earlier this week and it's been hovering around 100 dollars a barrel for some time.
