CRI听力：China Orders Market Inspections after Baby Milk Powder Contamination
China's top quality inspection official says that China's quality watchdog will soon publicize the results of a nationwide inspection on baby milk powder.
Li Changjiang, head of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, required quality inspectors to carry out precise tests to deliver a scientific, accurate and authoritative report.
He said inspections on other kinds of dairy products will also be carried out following the baby milk powder tests.
He urged inspectors to examine every problematic area in the production process so as to prevent any further contamination.

"As for producers who added poisonous elements to the milk and harmed our children and customers, we will punish them seriously."
So far the Chinese Police have detained 19 suspects and questioned 78 people in th
e investigation of the baby milk powder contamination case.
