CRI听力：Economists: China's GDP Growth Rate to Be Above 9.5% This Year

Many economists estimate that despite the global economic slowdown, Chinese economy will maintain a steady and fast growth for the rest of this year, with an annual Gross Domestic Product or GDP growth of more than 9.5 percent.

Hu Zuliu is the general manager of the Goldman Sachs Group Asia Limited.

"The negative impact of this global financial crisis is unavoidable for Chinese economy. But this year's GDP growth could be around 9.5% on average. It will be an amazing and speedy growth under the current global economic environment."

Wang Yuanhong, a senior researcher with the State Information Centre, is even more optimistic about the future economic growth.(WWw.hxen.net)

"We believe with adequate adjustments on the government policies, China's GDP growth rate could be about 10% in this year. It's still a relatively high growth rate."

China's GDP grew 9.9% year on year in the first three quarters of this year, 2.3 percentage points lower than the same period of last year.
