CRI听力：Is culture mature enough to accomodate growing number of the rich?

The Wuhan-based Changjiang Daily, has published a report, saying that as many as 320 thousand Chinese nationals, will be worth at least 10 million Yuan, or about one-and-a-half million US dollars, by the end of this year.

This China Merchants Bank survey, has triggered discussions nationwide.

The Beijing Youth Daily, says that these people, should start becoming more socially responsible.
The paper points out, that many rich people in China, are neglecting their societal responsibilities. It says they just live the high life, and many of them never contribute, to public welfare establishments. Their main focus, is on making themselves richer.

The paper argues that in many Western countries, the rich are more compassionate.. Bill Gates is a good example, of the super-rich, who has donated millions.

However, the paper goes on to say, that it's not enough that the rich donate money. They have to get rich legitimately.
