Li Changchun delivered a speech to nearly 200 South Korean key business figures.

Li Changchun put forward four suggestions to further promote bilateral economic and trade ties.

"First, two countries should adopt effective measures to ensure the steady growth of economic cooperation. Moreover, we need to strengthen our policies coordination and promote financial cooperation. We should also increase cross-border investment in a creative way. In addition, the two countries need to work together to improve international trade enviroment. "

Li Changchusn also pledged to expand people-to-people contacts, in particular the communication among young people, so as to lay a solid foundation for bilateral ties.

"we should promote our strategic partnership that contribute to the friendship between two countries and nations; then, deepen and consolidate friendly exchanges of young people and promote cultural exchanges based on the trade cooperation."

South Korea is the last leg of Li Changchun's four-nation tour, which has already taken him to Australia, Myanmar and Japan.
