CRI听力: Japan-foreigners Leave: One Chinese National Killed; over 2,000 Returned
The Chinese embassy in Tokyo says one Chinese national was killed in Miyagi Prefecture when the quake-triggered tsunami hit the area.
More than 1,900 Chinese citizens on 12 flights have returned from Japan.
Meanwhile, an Air China Boeing 777 brought 325 Chinese nationals back to the country.
One of the Chinese citizens who decided to come back to China said she has been living in Tokyo for over ten years.
"I am very scared, very, very scared. After I knew that I can come back to China, I feel so relieved. I have an appetite again. I believe others have the same feeling."
The Chinese embassy in Tokyo and the Chinese consulate in Niigata continue to send buses to the most-hit areas to pick up Chinese nationals.
They will be transported to the airports in Tokyo and Niigata where Chinese citizens will be flown home if they wish to do so.
