CRI听力:Entrepreneurs from Privately-owned Businesses Discuss "Go Global" Strategy in Beijing
Feng Jun, founder of the Aigo Entrepreneurs Alliance, helped create this study club for the entrepreneurs of privately-owned businesses. The goal is to provide a platform for business people to learn from Chinese corporations' success so they can better pursue business expansion overseas.
At the club's opening ceremony on Saturday, Feng Jun said mutual support and mutual assistance is necessary between businesses that have already gone international and businesses that aspire to expand overseas.
"The businesses that are successful in "going global" and the ones that wish to expand overseas should help each other and work closely. Only by working together will we be able to cooperate with foreign governments and business partners efficiently. Any individual company can't achieve that efficiency."
The concept advocated by Feng Jun states that as long as these privately-owned businesses take steps to go overseas, Chinese brands will get more recognized in the international market.
Renowned Chinese Economist, Cheng Siwei, appreciates Fun Jun's ideas.
"I hope members of this study club can learn from the successes of big corporations, and find a way of sustainable development. Maintaining business reputation requires continued efforts in technical progress and making your products appeal to the international market."
Members of the Aigo Entrepreneurs Alliance are mostly the top three players in different business sectors.
Liang Wanguo, Board Chairman and General Manager of Long Xiang Hotel based in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, became a member of the club only in January. He believes this is the place where he can find new opportunities.
"I think the club is a good platform and that's why we're here. If we can successfully go overseas, we will be able to attract Chinese workers out there. By offering them home style food and accommodation, I'm sure we'll be welcomed."
The Aigo club is planning some high level business functions this year so that members can get an opportunity to exchange with each other business ideas and learn from each other's successful experiences.
