CRI听力:Iran Nuclear Talks End Without Agreement
The latest round of Iranian nuclear talks have come to an end in Vienna, Austria.
While no final agreement has been reached, the negotiating parties have agreed to a new round of negotiations, which have been set for March 17th.
Iranian foreign minister Mohammed Zarif says while headway has been made, there is still much to be done.
"During these three days we have discussed the topics that we needed to address to achieve a final comprehensive solution. There is a lot to be done, and it will be difficult. But we, both parties, believe that this was a good start for this difficult task."
This latest round of Iranian nuclear talks among Iran and the P5+1 are meant to try to create a permanent agreement, following the creation of an interim agreement hammered out in November.
That deal has seen Iran suspend its key enrichment programs in exchange for a partial lifting of sanctions.
For more on the negotiations, The Beijing Hour's Shane Bigham spoke earlier with Hua Liming, China's former ambassador to Iran.
