Reporter: Thirty-year-old Chinese pop singer and actor, Han Geng, performs on Tuesday at this year's World Music Awards in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

He performs the hit single "Clown Mask" from his second solo album, "Wild Cursive".

Han Geng has been nominated in three categories at this year's WMA, including "World's Best Male Artist", "World's Best Video" and "World's Best Entertainer of the Year".

Outside of China, Han has already gained international acclaim by winning "Best Worldwide Act" at the MTV European Awards in 2012.

The artist studied dance and martial arts at a young age and is skilled in Chinese ethnic dance, ballet and hip-hop.

In 2001, he became a member of South Korean boy band, Super Junior. The band debuted in 2005 with the song "TWINS" and won popularity in many East Asian countries.

During his time with Super Junior, Han was also a regular active guest of South Korean variety shows such as "Love Letter" and "Star Golden Bell".

After terminating the contract with South Korean-based SME Entertainment, Han Geng returned to China to pursue a solo career in 2009.

In 2010, Han released his first solo album, titled "Geng Xin," meaning "Geng's heart." "My Logo" is the title song of the album.

In 2013, Han Geng starred in Chinese actress Zhao Wei's directorial debut, "So Young", "Zhi Wo Men Zhong Jiang Shi Qu de Qing Chun". The film was a hit at Chinese box offices and made Han a fixture in the Chinese film industry, since his acting garnered acclaim in the country.

In the same year, Han Geng was chosen by American director Michael Bay to join the cast of "Transformers: Age of Extinction".

Also presenting at this year's WMA are Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Ricky Martin and Leona Lewis.

The World Music Awards was founded by Prince Albert II of Monaco in 1989.
