CRI听力:Famous Singer Denied Drug Use Rumors
Chinese singer Han Hong has denied that she was arrested for drug use.
Han made the statement during the shoot for a promotional film about supporting Qinghai province.
Rumors began spreading recently on Weibo that a 'diva' was in custody for drug use in Beijing.
Since Han is regarded as a diva by Chinese media, many netizens speculated that she could be the one related to the case.
Han told reporters that "I never called myself a diva, and if you really want to call me a diva then i'm sorry to dissapoint u that I am a diva without anything to do with drugs."
The agent of another accused singer, Faye Wong, has already issued a statement claiming that Faye is completely innocent.
Han also defended other entertainers' innocence, including Zhao Wei and Na Ying.
