CRI听力:US Justice Department Conducts Autopsy of Brown

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has ordered the Justice Department to carry out an independent autopsy on the unarmed black teenager shot dead by a white police officer.40 FBI agents are in Ferguson to gather information.

Also a man is in critical condition after being shot by police in Ferguson, early Sunday, despite a night curfew imposed in the riot-hit American townPolice have also made seven arrests and fired tear gas into crowds.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson says the police action was in response to a call from a local restaurant.

"The operation tonight, the cause of our initial response -- we were going to Red's Barbecue and the shooting -- were operational responses and the response was not related to the enforcement of the curfew."

Meantime, Missouri governor Jay Nixon is criticizing local police for releasing CCTV footage which apparently shows shooting victim Michael Brown stealing.

"Quite frankly we disagree deeply.I think for two reasons, number one to attempt, in essence, to disparage the character of this victim in the middle of a process like this is not right.　It's juts not right.　And secondarily, it did put the community and quite frankly the region and the nation on alert again."

The governor declared a state of emergency and imposed a curfew in Ferguson on Saturday.

The authorities are trying to restore order after a week of charged protests and looting over the shooting of Brown.
