A draft bill on establishing special intellectual property rights courts is being deliberated by national lawmakers in Beijing.
Once established, the courts will focus largely on lawsuits connected to patents, industrial designs and technological knowledge.
The IPR courts will also be tasked with handling copyright issues and trademark disputes.
It's expected the courts will be mostly set up in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, where most of the IPR-related lawsuits are filed.
For more on the IPR courts, we are now joined on line with Gao Shang, analyst with Guantong Futures.
