CRI听力:Iran and Russia Agree to Increase Trade Cooperation
Russia and Iran have agreed to increase trade and economic cooperation as Russian officials traveled to Tehran for talks.
Russia's energy minister Alexander Novak says Russia is willing to work with Iran in fields including oil and nuclear plants.
"We have a lot of capabilities to strengthen our cooperation in the fields of electricity, natural gas, oil as well as nuclear energy and aircraft parts and other equipment."
For his part, Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh says the current size of bilateral economic relations is unacceptable and Iran will increase the ties by ten times or more.
Trade between the two countries was about 1.5 billion U.S dollars in 2013.
Iran has faced rounds of sanctions over its controversial nuclear program.
