CRI听力:NBA Superstar Dirk Nowitzki Attends World Premiere of Documentary about His Life

NBA superstar Dirk Nowitzki attended the world premiere of a fly-on-the-wall documentary about his life, "The Perfect Shot".

The film tells the story of Nowitzki's rise to stardom on the basketball court, as well as his ups and downs in his life, and the private side of the German player.

His coach and former companions also have their say in the film.

Nowitzki is no stranger to media spotlight.

However, he said that at first he wasn't too keen on the idea of making a film.

"Somebody else had the idea and I was presented with it, with the concept. And my first reaction was like, no, not really. But I got round to the idea. And the good thing was that we filmed over a longer period, not just two months. It was not like they filmed me every day when I brushed my teeth but they had nice ideas and I think it made for a good result."

Nowitzki said he was looking forward for the film to be released so that he can get back to what he does best.
