CRI听力:Tomas Berdych Bounces Back at ATP Finals
Tomas Berdych has rebounded from an opening defeat to revive his hopes at the ATP World Tour Finals by demolishing Croatia's Marin Cilic 6-3, 6-1 this morning in London.
This is the 5th year in a row Berdych has won his second match at the ATP finals after dropping his first.
With the win over Cilic, Berdych still has a chance to make it into the semi-finals, depending how he does against top seed Novak Djokovic in the final group match.
"For me it's going to be great to play a match with him. Maybe the last of the season, maybe not but even if it's the last one it's with the number one player in the world and it's really, as I said, a huge challenge and I'm going to try to bring all that I have, what is left in me and challenge him."
The other match of the evening had Djokovic put himself into the semi-finals with a 6-3, 6-love victory over Stan Wawrinka.
The American brother duo of Bob and Mike Bryan have held on to eliminate Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau 6-7, 6-3, 10-6.
And it was Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Robert Lindstedt from England edging Alexander Peya of Austria and his Indian partner Bruno Soares 6-4, 3-6, 10-6.
