The Kurds fighting the Islamic State in Iraq have taken control of a strategic town.
Kurdish Peshmerga forces have recaptured the town of Bakufa.
Abdul Kawriny is a Peshmerga commander.
"We, the Peshmerga came here from Irbil to protect our Christian brothers and their homes. There is constant cooperation and assistance from both sides."
Kurds have been actively fighting the Islamic State in northern Iraq for several months.
They've also dispatched a group of fighters into northern Syria to help battle the Islamic State in the fight for the strategic border town of Kobane.
