CRI听力:China Holds Educational Robot Contest
A robotics contest known as the "Abilix Cup" has taken place in Shanghai.
The competition is part of this year's World Educational Robot Championship.
The "Prehistoric Age" competition has seen the robots hunt and gather for various items.
The designers of the robots only had 2 hours' notice before the competition began.
"The degree of difficulty was changed during that time. It's totally different from what we did in training. As each mission is accomplished, there are slight changes. Our robot needs to be adapted steadily to complete the challenges. It's difficult to make every detail perfect in a short time."
Some 12-hundred primary and middle school students have attended the three-day contest, which began on Friday.
The "Abilix Cup" first began in 2000.
