A blizzard has been hammering Xinjiang, with temperatures dropping to close to 30-degrees below zero.
Parts of the region are also being hit with around 10 centimeters of snow.
"It took us nearly two hours to clear the snow, although the plot is not big."
The blizzard is hitting the northwest section of Xinjiang.
In the Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, the blizzard has disrupted highway traffic and has cut electricity to parts of the prefecture.
However, authorities say the heating supplies to the affected areas remain normal.
