CRI听力:Pakistan School Attack Draws Condemnations
The school attack in northwest Pakistan has drawn condemnations from around the world.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang says China opposes terrorism in any form and will continue to firmly support the unremitting Pakistani efforts to fight terrorism, safeguard national stability, and save people's lives.
U.S. President Barack Obama also condemned the attack in a statement released by the White House.
He says terrorists have once again shown their depravity.
Meanwhile, Secretary of State John Kerry also slammed the "brazen murder."
"Well, this morning, wherever you live, wherever you are, those are our children, and this is the world's loss. This act of terror angers and shakes all people of conscience, and we condemn it in the strongest terms possible. The perpetrators must be brought to justice."
Both Obama and Kerry promised to stand with the people of Pakistan, and to support the government of Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism and extremism and to promote peace and stability.
Many other countries including Britain have also condemned the attack.
