CRI听力:Guanghua New Year Forum Held at PK University

The 16th Peking University Guanghua New Year Forum was held on Sunday.

The theme for this year's forum is "China Moving Forward: Cultural and Economic Transformation".

Jin Liqun, from Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank, said the two key issues in China now are reforms of the economic system and combating corruption.

"I had been working in government for 30 years. I have a profound understanding that the key point of the next round of revolution in China is that whether the government can transform its functions. It's not too hard actually. However, it's like a doctor doing surgery on his own body. Technically speaking, it isn't difficult. But it's really hard to carry out."

Pan Shiyi, president of SOHO China, and Liu Qiangdong, CEO of online retailer Jingdong Group, also attended the forum.
