Wanda Group has begun beta-testing its online-to-offline (O2O) e-commerce platform "feifan".
The platform is collaboration with Internet Giant Tencent and Baidu.
It allows people to use their smart phones to find and purchase goods and services close to them.
A launch date hasn't been announced.
This comes amid word brick-and-mortar retailer Wang Fujing lost over 6-million US dollars in its online shop through this past year.
