CRI听力:Another Reserve Ratio or Interest Rates Cuts Likely in June: Analysts
A growing number of observers are suggesting the People's Bank of China is likely poised to announce another reserve requirement ratio cut or interest rate cut this coming month.
Haitong Securities chief analyst Jiang Chao is on-record saying the central bank will probably make an additional four cuts to banks’ reserve requirements this year, with the latest coming in June.
China's central bank cut interest rates by 25 basis points earlier this month.
This is the third interest rate cut in China in the past six months as the central bank attempts to keep the economy stable.
For more on this, CRI's Spencer Musick spoke earlier with John Ross, Senior fellow with the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University.
