CRI听力:China's Wang Qiang out of French Open
China's Wang Qiang crashed out of the French Open, losing to Italy's Francesca Schiavone 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
Wang is ranked 102 in the world.
"This is the first time that I've played at the French Open. I was very excited and nervous. After winning the first set, I had thought I could win it but made too many errors at the crucial moment."
Wang was the last Chinese player to exit at this year's tournament, following Peng Shuai, Zhuang Shuai and Zheng Saisai.
Sixth-seeded Canadian Eugenie Bouchard was eliminated, losing 6-4, 6-4 to France's Kristina Mladenovic.
But the 21-year-old says she will put this loss behind her.
"Yeah. I mean, definitely for a day or so I'll, you know, think about the match, but I think it's important to try to move on quickly in tennis in general because, you know, every Monday there is a new chance. So I'm going to try and forget this one."
This marks Bouchard's first ever first-round exit in a Grand Slam.
