CRI听力:Privatization of Overseas Chinese Firms Continues
More Chinese firms have given up US listings to return home, with online real estate company E-House becoming the latest to receive a management-led buyout offer.
Three more privatization bids were reported in just the last 24 hours. Home Inns just got an offer, and 21vianet and Renren both received offers yesterday.
Medical devices maker Mindray Medical has also announced a buyout offer, followed by solar panel maker JA Solar.
Other companies that have launched de-listing bids in New York include education specialist Xueda, children's website Taomee, online dating site Jiayuan and drug maker WuXi PharmaTech.
Hunan TV's Mango TV Raises 500 Mln Yuan
Mango TV, an Internet video site under Hunan TV, has reportedly finished its first round of financing and managed to raise 500 million yuan.
The fund is said to be for purchasing more web content and improve their technologies.
Mango TV expects advertising income to reach 800 million yuan this year, 10 times compared with that of 2014.
The firm earlier planned to launch a second round of fund-raising, but finally decided to get listed on the New Third Board, China's over-the-counter stock market for small- and medium-sized enterprises.
