CRI听力:"Ant Man" Paul Rudd Gets a Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Actor Paul Rudd has become the latest edition to the "Hollywood Walk of Fame" in Los Angeles.

The 46-year-old, who is starring in the new Marvel feature "Ant Man," has risen to fame mostly through comedic roles.

"And I remember being a kid and walking this boulevard and reading the names and thinking about what so many millions of people thought about, which is 'like who is that?' And the fact that of millions of people are going to be able to now see me and ask that same question for time immemorial is humbling beyond belief," said Rudd during his acceptance speech.

"Ant Man" also stars veteran actor Michael Douglas, who was also on-hand to help Rudd receive his star on the "Walk of Fame."

"When Marvel films reached out to me for 'Ant-Man,' of course I was very excited to be in this family. And then they told me that Paul Rudd was going to be the action star of this new movie and I had to go back to IMDB. Yeah Paul Rudd, 'Anchorman,' 'Knocked Up.' Paul Rudd the action star? So I went in a little wary and said 'let's see what this guy's got.'" said Douglas.

"Ant Man" has already premiered in LA.

It's slated to be released in North American theatres on July 17th.
