CRI听力:Mexico Hunts Escaped Drug Lord
Mexican police are hunting the drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman who escaped from a maximum security prison on Saturday night.
Mexico's Interior Minister Miguel Chong says the escaped drug lord must have had cooperation from prison officials.
"We can't omit that, to achieve his goal, the now fugitive (referring to Guzman) must have had the complicity of personnel and or officials from the Altiplano prison."
The Mexican government is offering 3.8 million dollars for information leading to Guzman's capture.
Forty-nine people have been questioned by the government's organized crime unit, including 32 prison employees.
Guzman is considered one of the world's richest and most powerful drug traffickers.
In 2001, Guzman bribed guards to help him escape from a prison near the city of Guadalajara after a previous arrest in 1993.
He was recaptured last year after another prison escape.
