CRI听力:Belinda Bencic Wins Rogers Cup Title

Swiss teen Belinda Bencic has won this year's Rogers Cup tournament after Romanian Simona Halep withdrew from the final due to injury.

Halep retired with a left leg injury and heat exhaustion, and pulled out in the third set after dropping the first 3 games in the last set.

This is the second WTA Tour trophy for Bencic, who upset world number one Serena Williams in a three-set marathon semi-final.

"To close out a match against any players is very tough, to close out a match against Serena Williams is another story. I've seen her on TV so many times turn around matches. I knew she was not going to hand it to me. I got really nervous, I think that's nervous, everyone would. I'm really proud that at 5-4 I somehow closed it out."

In Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, American Lauren Davis has advanced to the next round, beating her compatriot Nicole Gibbs in straight sets 7-6, 6-4.

Other competitors including Australian Casey Dellacqua, Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic and Mona Barthel from Germany are also through.
