CRI听力:China's Yang Jintong Takes Silver at FINA World Junior Swimming Championships
Chinese swimmers Yang Jintong and Qiu Ziao have finished in second and third place in the boys' 400-meters freestyle event at the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Singapore.
The gold went to American Grant Shoults.
"I'm very, very excited. We have an awesome US team. Super excited to start it off with a bang.... and I know that for the US team there's a lot more coming, so, very excited."
On the women's side, Britain's Rosie Rudin has set a new world junior record in the girls' 400 metre individual medley.
"I'm so shocked right now. I wasn't expecting to go that fast. I mean I did a good morning swim for me, but I still didn't expect to go that fast."
Australia has been dominant in both of the evening's relays, winning the 4X100 freestyle.
The girls team took the 4X200 meter freestyle gold.
