CRI听力:Australia Beats Fiji 28-13 in Rugby World Cup Pool A
Australia has gotten their Rugby World Cup off to a winning start after they defeated Fiji 28-13 in a Pool A match in Cardiff.
Australia head coach Michael Cheika offered these thought on the victory.
"I think we are very pleased to have a win in our first game, i know the boys have been waiting to play for a fair while, and i think the physical nature of the game, a good level of physicality, and a lot of work, we had to do a lot of work, was really positive for us, and the fact that we have not played a lot of rugby over the last period, this was something that we needed to come to terms with relatively quickly in this competition."
This is Fiji's second consecutive loss at the tournament.
France defeated Romania 38-11.
And it's Scotland all over Japan 45-10.
Despite a spate of injuries, Wales is still looking forward to its clash against England on Saturday.
Wales coach Rob Howley says decision-making will be the key.
"It's going to be important come Saturday night, when we've got the ball, we respect the ball because it's going to be a big game that comes down to fine margins. The key decision-making and the accuracy under pressure is going to be probably the defining moment in the game. I think the side that masters that moment is going to be the side that wins the game."
Both Wales and England won their opening games of this year's tournament.
