CRI听力:APEC Leaders Summit Opens

This year's APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting is underway in Manila, capital of the Phillipines.

Economic integration, small and medium enterprises, and sustainable growth are high on the agenda of the two-day session.

During the summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping is to brief other leaders about the implementation of the consensus reached at last year's APEC meeting in Beijing and also the progress in the implementation of the China-proposed Silk Road initiative.

For more on the meeting, CRI's Tu Yun and Brian Kopczynski earlier spoke to Dr. Liang Wei, Professor of International Policy Studies at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in the US.
