CRI听力:Nadal Beats Raonic to Win Mubadala World Tennis Championship
Rafael Nadal has downed Canadian Milos Raonic in straight sets, 7-6, 6-3, to win this year's Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.
It's the 3rd time Nadal has won the exhibition tournament in the United Arab Emirates.
"Well yes thank you very much, first of all happy new year everybody and all the best for Milos (Raonic) for the rest of the season and yes it's a tournament that I love so much. Every time that I have the chance to be here I am back here. So thank you very much Abu Dhabi for the hospitality, it's been great years here and I hope to be back a lot more. So you know just thank you very much to the organisation to make possible this great event."
3rd place has gone to Spain's David Ferrer, who managed to get past Switzerland's Stan Wawrinka in a 3-set affair.
