Victoria Azarenka has ended her long title drought, winning the Brisbane International with a 6-3, 6-1 win over fourth-seeded Angelique Kerber.
"It feels really good. I am very excited to start the year like that. It definitely feels satisfying that all the work that you have been putting in - it's paying off so I just feel happy. The result is a bonus to me... I enjoy being on the court and playing. I love being healthy so it's a blessing," says Azarenka.
This is Azarenka's 18th career title.
