CRI听力:China Lose 3-1 to Syria at the AFC U23 Championship

China's hopes of making the Olympics have been dashed.

This, after the squad suffered their 2nd consecutive defeat at the AFC Under-23 Championship, going down to Syria 3-1 on Friday night.

With the loss, any hopes of making it to Rio are now over, as only the top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout stages of the competition.

China will take on undefeated Iran, which has already secured its way into the knock-out stages after dumping both Syria and hosts Qatar in their previous matches.
