CRI听力:Roger Federer Beats Grigor Dimitriov for 300th Grand Slam Win

Third seeded Roger Federer has powered his way into the fourth round in Melbourne, knocking out Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in a 4-set affair.

The Swiss star becomes the first player ever to win 300 matches in Grand Slam tournaments.

"I don't know, it's very exciting, I must tell you. Like when I reached 1,000 last year, it was a big deal for me. Not something I ever aimed for or looked for, but when it happens, it's very special. Yeah, you look deeper into it, I guess, where it's all happened and how. Yeah, so it's very nice. I'm very happy."

Defending champion Novak Djokovic, who is seeking a 5th Australian Open title in 6-years, is through after taking out Italy's Andreas Seppi in straight-sets.

Others advancing have included Kei Nishikori, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gilles Simon and Tomas Berdych, who rolled over Australian Nick Kyrgios in 4-sets.

Kyrgios, the brash upstart, provided Friday's color, after unleashing a profanity-laced tirade on the chair umpire after music began playing during one of his rallies.
