CRI听力:Expert on China’s Provincial 2015 GDP Growth
In the wake of the release of national economic data a week ago, some provinces have also published their economic performances of 2015.
GDP growth has varied widely across different regions.
But the value added of the service sector generally witnessed fast growth, and the sector's annual GDP growth rate was about 10 percent, much higher than the national rate of 6.9 percent.
Data based on the first three quarters indicates that it is highly likely that Chongqing will once again lead China in terms of GDP growth.
Chongqing Municipality is said to have realized GDP growth of 11 percent year on year.
Elsewhere, Hubei province achieved GDP growth of 8.9 percent.
Beijing's GDP growth was 6.9 percent in 2015. Its growth was 0.4 percent lower than in 2014.
For more on provincial GDP growth in China, CRI's Bob Jones earlier spoke with John Ross, senior fellow with the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University.
