Hong Kong has opened its ICC World T20 qualifiers on a loss, going down to Zimbabwe by just 14 runs.
"We know that if we can save the wickets, in the power play we can accelerate later on, but unfortunately we saved the wicket but we can't get that target in power play. I think credit goes to Zimbabwe's bowlers, they who bowled very well in the power play," says captain Tanwir Afzal.
Hong Kong will next take on Afghanistan, which once-again upset Scotland in its opener, also winning by 14 runs.
This is the 6th straight win for Afghanistan over Scotland in Twenty20 matches.
