Great Britain has vowed to strengthen cooperation with China in the areas of healthcare and education at the ongoing 4th China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services, or CIFTIS, this year.
As the Guest of Honor at this year's event, dozens of UK companies have been involved as exhibitors or participants as part of the UK Theme Day which kicked off on May 28th.
The UK is the world's second largest exporter of services and has transitioned successfully from an economy that was heavily reliant on manufacturing to one that is now supported by services.
The services sector accounts for more than three quarters of the country's GDP, with services exports to China taking up around a fifth of the total.
For more on this, our reporter Luo Yu talked to James Bryce with the British Embassy at this year's CIFTIS.
