CRI听力:Upcoming Film Soulmate Releases Trailer
A coming-of-age film with a harem set-up Soulmate has recently been spotted with a new edition of the trailer, in which the protagonist Jia Ming acted by Taiwan actor Toby Lee was unveiled.
The movie Soulmate is an adaptation of the novel July and Ansheng, which tells the story of two girls who have been friends since they were thirteen years old.
However, the two happen to fall in love with the same guy called Jia Ming, and they are forced to choose between eternal friendship and love.
Chinese actress Zhou Dongyu and Ma Sichuan, who most notably starred in The Left Ear, portray the two young girls respectively.
The movie is the first big screen adaptation of online novelist Anne Baby's work by the same name and set to be released on September 14, 2016.
