Dutch designer Daan Roosegaarde and his team have brought the world's largest anti-smog tower to tthe 2017 Summer Davos in Dalian.
The 7-meter-tall device is said to be capable of capturing over 70-percent of airborne smog particles 10-microns in diameter, and 50-percent of those less than 2.5 microns in diameter.
The device has patented ion technology.
China's air pollution issues have made the project a significant source of interest at this year's World Economic Forum session in Dalian.
For more on this, CRI's Huang Shan spoke earlier with designer of the tower Daan Roosegaarde.
