The WoW festival, the Women of the World festival, has taken place this weekend in Beijing.
Jude Kelly, director of the festival, is also the artistic director of London's Southbank Centre, one of the UK's premier cultural centers.
Ahead of the WoW festival, which has taken place at the Tianqiao Performing Arts Center yesterday, CRI's Xu Fei spoke with Jude Kelly about why they wanted to put on the Women of the World event in China.
