CRI听力:Chinese film "Seventy-seven DAYS" to debut in China Nov 3
It's been announced a new Chinese film, "Seventy-Seven DAYS" is due to debut in China tomorrow.
"Seventy-Seven DAYS" centers on a young man who embarks on a dangerous yet magical adventure in Qiangtang, a remote and underdeveloped area on the Tibetan Plateau.
At a promotional event in Beijing, director Zhao Hantang admits they had their challenges while shooting.
"When we finished shooting in an uninhabited area and wanted to leave, a big snowfall trapped us. We tried to pull our vehicles out with rope. However, all the ropes ended up breaking. It was very frustrating."
Zhao Hantang also stars in the film along with Jiang Yiyan.
"Young moviegoers should really try to watch more movies about courage, freedom and belief. If moviegoers feel life is full of hope after watching it, that's the effect of our movie we would like you to discover."
The film received a special award at this year's Beijing International Film Festival in April.
