CRI听力:Young comedian's directorial debut to hit theatres on Friday
Chinese crosstalk performer Gao Xiaopan's directorial debut Trouble Makers will hit theatres on Friday.
Known as Xiong Di Bie Nao(兄弟别闹) in Chinese, the comedy film is basically an inspiring story that happens to a pair of brothers who used to be society dropouts but want to redeem themselves by a thorough change. However they face repeated setbacks.
Taiwan model-actor Li Qingtian also plays a role in Trouble Makers. He attended a promotional event in Beijing.
"The best part of this film is that we've been working so closely and happily with each other. The harmonious work environment made it a lot easier for us to step into a relation of buddies in the film."
Gao Xiaopan also plays a lead role in his directorial debut. Other cast member includes Hong Kong actor Sam Lee and mainland actress Yu Shasha.
The release of Trouble Makers will happen on the same day as another much-anticipated film, Murder on the Orient Express.
