CRI听力:'The Liquidator' to hit theatres on Friday
A Chinese film which tells the story of a series of murders carried out by a self-styled vigilante is due to hit theatres on this Friday.
Xu Jizhou, the director of this crime thriller, called "The Liquidator",told Movie magazine:
"What would attract moviegoers at the beginning are not those characters, although they are especially sensitive and subtle in their personality. So we start the movie with an eye-catching process of a rationalization ceremony scene that takes place before a crime is committed. This would definitely arouse people's curiosity to go on watching."
The movie stars veteran actor Deng Chao as a policeman, Fang Mu, who is tasked with tracking down a murderer, with the help of a forensic fingerprint expert, Mi Nan, played by Cecilia Liu.
The screenplay is based on the novel "Evil Minds: City Light" written by Lei Mi, who also has a cameo in the movie.
